PLEASE bear in mind that delays have been very common this season. We have been including extra dry ice on every order in anticipation of multiple-day delays. If you’d like to avoid a bumpy ride, please contact us and we’ll arrange for a delivery in mid-January, which should result in a much higher percentage chance of on-time delivery.
We strongly advise against trying to time an order for last-minute delivery–these last-minute orders frequently end in disappointment for everybody. This is true all year-long, but especially pertinent during the holiday season when carriers are overwhelmed and weather can also complicate delivery times.
Below, we include a calendar with our shipping plan.
Note: We will be spending minimal time in the office the week of Christmas and New Year’s, as most orders taking place during these weeks will go out the second week of January.
Find where your shipping address is. We ship Monday through Thursday, aiming for orders to arrive on weekdays. If you are in a 3-day zone, we ship Monday or Tuesday for planned arrival Thursday or Friday. These orders will ship week of January 6, 2020 unless the RUSH option at checkout. In the same way, we ship 2-day orders on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for planned arrival 2 days later. These orders will ship week of January 6th, 2020.
We hang our hats on quality and service. We are not Amazon and we recognize that we are not going to win the speediest seafood shipping award, but if you need an order by a specific date, please contact us and we can at least do our best to shepherd that order to you in time. But the best thing to do is always plan ahead.
